About Me

Palm Tree_edited.png

Hello! I'm an art educator, graphic designer, and creative professional from Syracuse, New York, with a lifelong passion for creativity and visual storytelling.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Apparel Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I developed a strong foundation in design, illustration, and creative problem-solving. My professional journey began in the fashion industry, where I worked in apparel design and fashion editorial, gaining experience in trend forecasting, product development, and visual communication.

My path eventually led me to education, where I discovered my greatest passion—helping young artists find their creative voice. Before becoming an elementary art teacher, I worked as a nanny, preschool teacher, and owner of a licensed daycare, experiences that deepened my understanding of child development and the importance of creating nurturing, engaging learning environments.

Today, I blend my background in design with my love of teaching to create meaningful, hands-on art experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. My classroom is a place where every student is encouraged to explore new ideas, embrace challenges, and express themselves through a variety of artistic media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art.

I believe art is more than a subject—it's a powerful tool for communication, problem-solving, and self-discovery. My goal is to foster an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, empowered, and excited to create while developing skills that extend far beyond the art room.

Whether I'm designing, teaching, or creating, I strive to inspire imagination, celebrate individuality, and show others that creativity has the power to transform ideas into meaningful experiences.
